Size & Fit

Mouthpiece Thickness: 14mm diameter - ideal for horses with average to sensitive mouths. The thinner diameter provides refined communication and is commonly used for double bridles.


Sizing Guide: Measure your horse's mouth from corner to corner, then add 0.5-1cm. The bit should sit comfortably with approximately 0.5cm visible on each side when fitted. Rings should not pinch the corners of the mouth.


Fit Characteristics: The curved shape of SATINOX bits provides generous tongue room, making them suitable for horses who need extra space in the mouth. The double jointed mouthpiece is flexible, applying pressure to the tongue, bars, and corners of the mouth.


Best Suited For: All disciplines and training levels. The bradoon design is specifically intended for use in double bridle combinations with a weymouth bit.

Fabric & Care Guide

Rinse thoroughly with clean water after each use to remove saliva and debris
Wipe dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots on the satin finish
Clean with warm water and a soft brush or sponge
For stubborn residue, use mild soap and rinse thoroughly
Dry completely before storage
Use Sprenger Diamond Paste to restore the radiant satin finish
Store in a dry place when completely dry
Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasives that may damage the satin finish
